Club Six is a place where students in 6th grade meet to hang out and talk about living a life of faith. We believe it is important for kids to feel safe and comfortable to talk about whatever is on their minds, because God cares about what they care about. That's why relationship building is key to this group. We allow time for kids to unwind and just hang out while they grab a snack at the church before the lesson. Lesson topics include making wise choices, friendship, handling conflict, social media, as well as basic faith-building skills. The lesson always includes a challenge for kids to apply what they discover in the Bible to their lives.
Students will have a lasting understanding of 3 things:
1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
3. I exist every day to demonstrate God's love to a broken world.
For the 2017-2018 school year, Club Six will meet on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00pm. We will pick the students up from school, and parents please pick up your children from the church at 4:00pm.
**All adults who work with youth and children are background checked.
