"Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature

and in favor with God and all the people."

--Luke 2:52

Kids come to Club Orange to meet with friends weekly for a Bible lesson, games, and snacks. Here they learn foundational truths from God's Word to set them up for a life of following Jesus.  Activities and lessons provide a fun and interactive way for kids to journey through the Bible.  Each month we focus on a specific character trait, with weekly Bible stories to reinforce the month's theme.  Examples of monthly character traits include: respect, honesty, individuality, friendship, and determination.  It is important that students encounter God in their everyday lives, so lessons always involve kids in a discussion about how to apply the lesson to their daily lives.

Students will learn 3 basic truths

     1. I need to make the wise choice.

     2. I can trust God no matter what.

     3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

For the 2014-2015 school year, Club Orange will meet on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm.  We will pick the students up from the elementary school and parents can pick up their children at the church at 5:00pm.

Jesus told them,

“This is the only work God wants from you:

Believe in the One he has sent.”

 --John 6:29

Club Six is a place where students in 6th grade meet to hang out and talk about living a life of faith.  We believe it is important for kids to feel safe and comfortable to talk about whatever is on their minds, because God cares about what they care about.  That's why relationship building is key to this group.  We allow time for kids to unwind and just hang out while they grab a snack at the BP station before we head to the church for the lesson.  Lesson topics include making wise choices, friendship, handling conflict, social media, as well as basic faith-building skills.  The lesson always includes a challenge for kids to apply what they discover in the Bible to their lives.

Students will have a lasting understanding of 3 things:

     1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.

      2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.

     3. I exist every day to demonstrate God's love to a broken world.

For the 2014-2015 school year, Club Six will meet on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00pm.  We will pick the students up from school, and parents please pick up your children from the church at 4:00pm.

Igniting hearts with passion for Jesus Christ

and spreading the fire of God's love

to a world in need.

"His word burns in my heart like a fire."

--Jeremiah 20:9

When teens come to Ignite youth meetings, they come to hang out with their friends and grow in relationship with each other and with God.  Each week, teens discuss issues that they face in their everyday lives and how to deal with them in a Christian way. Students will learn how to strengthen their relationship with God, serve the needy, share their faith with their friends, and live life like Jesus did. This group will prepare teens to make their faith their own and to keep growing spiritually after they graduate from high school.

Students will have a lasting understanding of three things:

     1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.

     2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.

     3. I exist every day to demonstrate God's love to a broken world.

For the remainder of the 2014-2015 school year, Ignite will meet at the church on Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm.

children worship for website 3.png

Kids 5 years old and up are welcome to come and sing songs of praise to God. Bring your kids on Sunday evenings for songs, games, crafts, and snacks. The kids sing monthly in the Sunday morning worship services and perform a musical once a year. The kids have fun and learn that they are not just singing, but worshiping God.

Isaiah Jones is the Christmas musical that the kids in KWT will begin working on this fall.  They will be performing it for the church and community around Christmas.  There is always time for your kids to join in on the adventure!

Do your kids need some extra help with their homework?  Consider their participation in our after school tutoring program.  We pick the kids up from the elementary school at 3:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Then they head to the church for a snack and tutoring help.  The kids have fun learning through interactive games.  One-on-one homework help provides reinforcement of what the kids are learning in the classroom.
