When you volunteer with youth you not only give them your time and your energy you give them Jesus. You show them they are worthy of your love and of His love. There is no greater gift to give them.

Sunday Mornings:
Teachers - it’s not as scary as it sounds! Again you give them Jesus, while we do follow a curriculum that teaches the children the stories of the bible and relevant life application what they come back for is the love they feel from their teachers. That is the love of Jesus their teachers share. It is a commitment of one Sunday a month and there is a need for two teachers in each classroom each week as we rebuild after our season of home based worship. Preschool class is 3 years and potty trained until they enter Kindergarten. K5 class is Kindergarten through 5th grades.
Club Blue
Club Blue is our after school youth group that encompasses grades 6th-8th. At this time is runs every Wednesday from 2:30-4:00. With clean up and pick ups volunteers are often around until 4:30.
Snacks-
We do snacks at the very beginning because the kids come HUNGRY and energetic. There is a need for someone to provide snacks each week that include a prepackaged drink and a individually packaged or prepared food (either in a bag or set out on individual plates). The kids LOVE warm foods like pizza, soft pretzels, chicken and they enjoy sweets but often also want something with a little substance after a long day at school.
People-
Each week we have a lesson that we give to the whole group. Then when we have the ability we break into small groups so the kids feel more comfortable and have the ability to share with smaller numbers. The depth of the kids responses changes dramatically when we can break into these smaller groups but that takes group leaders. We promise it’s not hard the teaching was already taken care of it’s mainly about listening and sharing love.
We also love to play games but this is also done more easily when we can break into two groups so everyone can get a turn in.
So really we need you, for fun and games, for direction of questions but mostly for the love of Jesus you emit when you come!
Club Orange
Club Orange is our after school youth group that encompasses 3rd-5th grades. At this time we are meeting once a month in the evening on a Thursday night from 6-7:30. Volunteers are usually there for just about 15 minutes before and after the kids.
Snacks-
Snacks for this crew don’t have to be as substantial because many of them have already eaten dinner but they still enjoy yummy treats! Again all drinks and foods are being prepackaged/ pre-plated so they can be given out individually.
People-
Each week we have a lesson but this crew is a little smaller so we hang together for discussion.
BUT don’t think we don’t need you because we do! They LOVE games and we need a few extra people/ facilitators in games to make it fun for them.
And just like the kids in blue they just need you, they need another person willing to say that they are important enough to them to come share the love of Jesus with them!
